About Apulit Island
El Nido Resorts’ Eco-Adventure island resort, Apulit, set in Taytay Bay in North-eastern Palawan, offers exciting and exhilarating activities for the thrill-seeker. Guests may climb and rappel down the 60-meter limestone cliff, with birds’ eye-view of the whole island. Dive and discover sunken treasures just off the beach, with a Japanese ship wreck and a plethora of marine species to greet guests. Put on headlights and go spelunking in the different caves of Apulit, or hop on the banca as one go island hopping and snorkelling with the resort’s marine sports guides to identify and explain the different species around the area. The resort’s guest activities coordinators will help plan your adventure-filled holiday at Apulit Island.
Accommodations
Apulit Island has 50 water cottages that combine traditional Filipino architectural style with contemporary design. The cottages are all built on stilts, perched above the sea with an unobstructed view of Palawan’s azure Taytay Bay, surrounding islands, and dramatic limestone cliffs. There are 30 Water Cottages built around the main cove of the island. Each Water Cottage has a 35sqm floor area and can accommodate a maximum of two persons. 20 Loft Water Cottages are located on the western cove. Each two-level Loft Water Cottage has direct access to the sea from its private veranda. It has a total floor area of 61sqm and fits four persons.
Water Cottage
These cottages are on stilts and are ideal for couples. Each Water Cottage has a private veranda overlooking to the sea and can fit up to 2 persons from the same household or 1 person if not from the same household.
Loft Water Cottage
Perfect for families or group of friends, the Loft Water Cottage can fit up to 4 persons / 4 adults, 1 child (12 years old and below) from the same household and 3 persons if not from the same household.

AirSwift is located at Manila Domestic Airport Terminal 4, Andrews Ave, Pasay, 1300 Metro Manila
Airswift offers daily flights from Manila to El Nido, Palawan. Travel time is approximately 55 minutes using a 48 and 72-seater ATR aircraft. Guests for Apulit Island are recommended to take the morning flights going to El Nido and afternoon flights going to Manila/Clark and other destinations. Boat transfer schedules are based on AirSwift flights arrival and departure schedule. Subject to change without prior notice.
Upon arrival at Lio airport in El Nido, guests will be welcomed by the resort’s airport representative from Lio Airport Terminal and will be accompanied to the terminal exit for their 90-minute van transfer to Taytay Wharf. Upon arrival in Taytay Wharf, guests can have complimentary light snacks at Sala de Apulit followed by 45-60 minutes boat transfer to the island.

From Puerto Princesa, Palawan to Taytay, Palawan:
El Nido is also accessible by land from Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. It takes approximately 4-hours to travel by land from Puerto Princesa City to Taytay Town, Palawan.
From Coron, Palawan to El Nido, Palawan:
Airswift airline offers flights from Busuanga airport (Coron) to El Nido, Palawan. Flight takes approximately 40 minutes however, Busuanga-El Nido afternoon flights and El Nido-Busuanga morning flights are not suitable for Apulit Island guests.
From San Vicente, Palawan to Taytay, Palawan:
San Vicente, Palawan is also a jump-off point to Taytay, Palawan. It takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to travel by land from San Vicente, Palawan to Taytay Town, Palawan. Please note Apulit Island’s boat transfers schedule before booking your preferred van transfers from San Vicente, Palawan to Taytay Town, Palawan and vice versa.
Apulit Island has (2) two pick-up locations from El Nido, Palawan.
For AirSWIFT passengers and guests staying near Lio Airport, van transfers are located beside the Lio Airport Terminal Exit.
Van Transfer Schedule from Lio Airport to Taytay Port: 7:30AM and 12:00PM
For guests staying in El Nido Town and Corong-Corong, van transfers are available at the El Nido Resorts’ Central Office (5-minute walk from the El Nido Municipal Hall). Joining guests will be charged Php 500 (per person, per way) to be settled at the resort upon check-out.
Van Transfer Schedule from El Nido Resorts Central Office to Taytay Port: 8:00AM and 12:00PM
Please be at your preferred pick-up location at least 15 minutes before the estimated time of departure. The transfer will take 90-minute van ride to Taytay Town Port and followed by a 45 to 75-minute boat transfer to Apulit Island depending on tide and weather conditions.
